Mr. Friedrich Casutt von Batemberg, born in Switzerland is
a naturalized U.S. citizen. He received his advanced law degree (LL.M), cum laude, from the University
of Fribourg, Switzerland. He also received a post-graduate doctorate, the highest adademic law degree a university can
confer, a Dr.utr.iur. -(Doctor utriusque iuris) degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Fribourg.
This degree is equivalent to a J.S.D. (Doctor of Juridical Science or a Ph.D in law). Dr. von Batemberg's law degree and
doctorate are dual degrees, including civil and canon law, the law of the catholic church. He is the author
of various publications (law and economics).
Mr. von Batemberg is admitted to practice law in the State of Louisiana and limits his practice in
Florida to immigration and nationality law. Immigration law is federal administrative law. Dr. von Batemberg can represent
clients in any state and in any United States Embassy or Consulate. He is a member of the Bar of the
State of Louisiana, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the
AILA Central Florida Chapter, and is admitted as an attorney and counselor of the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit.
